Hoteletail, an eCommerce company that specialises in building and managing luxury online retail channels for boutique hotels, has secured investment from Vaimo, one of the world’s fastest growing eCommerce solution providers on the Magento platform.
The partnership will see the introduction of new and enhanced software which enables luxury hotels to collaborate with brands, designers and local artists. The platform delivers unique value to hotel guests and new income for hotels which have faced declining revenues from legacy services such as in-room calls and in-room movies. Since launching in 2013, Hoteletail has successfully deployed its software in several popular boutique hotels, generating average sales of 1,500 EUR per room per year.

Building on its growing number of hotel customers in Scandinavia, Hoteletail is planning to bring value to the best hotels also in the countries where Vaimo operates, such as the UK, Norway, USA and South Africa.
