Stockholm, Sweden, September 14, 2017- Vaimo, a leading global Magento solution partner and a strategic omni-channel partner for many well-known brands, today announced the acquisition of Notitium. The acquisition means that Vaimo further strengthens its PIM solution offering, to include both inRiver Product Marketing Cloud and Akeneo Community and Enterprise editions, towards the global market.
“Acquiring Notitium is an important strategic step, which further improves and extends our omni-channel offering to our B2B and B2C clients and prospects globally. There is an increasing demand for PIM solutions and we have the necessary experience and knowledge to successfully deliver such solutions. Our extended PIM offering will target both existing clients and potential clients and can be implemented separately or as a part of an eCommerce solution on the Magento Commerce platform,” says David Holender, Chief Executive Officer at Vaimo.
“Notitium has been exclusively focused on delivering IT solutions for Product Information Management for over six years. With expertise in communication strategies, software development, PIM project management and multichannel publishing and printing, we aim to bring additional value to Vaimo expertise. We have worked with a variety of different industries, and have created specialised PIM solutions for food and trade businesses. We look forward to being a part of the Vaimo global team of more than 300 eCommerce experts,” says Magnus Bengtsson, CEO at Notitium AB.
The acquisition of Notitium follows the previously communicated strategic partnership with inRiver. By broadening the PIM solutions offering and by acquiring Notitium, Vaimo is bringing in additional experience and deep know-how on PIM implementations and therefore able to offer better services to its clients globally.
