Magento has been chosen as a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Digital Commerce, after being selected as the Challenger by Gartner last year!

Gartner’s report assessed 21 eCommerce platform providers to create a thoughtful evaluation of top digital commerce vendors in a growing market. Magento was named a Leader, “based on its increasingly growing and flexible commerce platform that is used in many verticals and by companies of various sizes across many countries.” According to Gartner, leaders are those digital commerce providers who:

  • Offer functionality with scope and intelligence
  • Provide an e-commerce reach across a wide range of industries and business models
  • Supply platforms that are able to scale up to allow extensive transaction capacities and elevated levels of revenue
  • Offer sales and support services directly and via a network of partners
  • Provide added application capabilities that integrate with their e-commerce platform

It’s further described in the report that Leaders as those digital commerce providers who are viable technically, financially, and organizationally, and who constantly demonstrate client satisfaction. Leaders are exemplary in their field and examples to other e-commerce platform vendors.

While Gartner also communicated the obstacles that Magento as a platform poses, Vaimo has worked hard to address and overcome the challenges that have been communicated in the report with the platform.
