It is the core of how we run our business, and how we design and deliver digital solutions that are built to last. Our approach is shaped through ongoing internal discussions and collaboration across teams, with a focus on practical actions and transparent communication.
Environmental
Sustainable business practices
Vaimo is committed to conducting business responsibly with a long-term perspective. This includes protecting the environment, using energy and resources efficiently, and supporting sustainable development. Environmental considerations are integrated into investments, operational decisions, product development, and procurement, with a clear preference for environmentally responsible options that are also economically viable.
Sustainability workshops and initiatives
Internally, we work to embed sustainability into our ways of working and client offerings. Our focus is on practical, actionable steps, such as reducing waste, encouraging more sustainable transportation choices, and collaborating with partners to make ecommerce platforms more sustainable in real-world use.
Sustainable hosting and carbon reduction
Vaimo partners with GleSYS, a green data center provider powered by 100% renewable energy and innovative heat recovery systems. This partnership helps reduce CO₂ emissions across our operations and client solutions, including an estimated saving of 22.79 tons of CO₂ in 2021, while excess heat is reused to warm more than 1,000 apartments, supporting a circular approach to energy use.
Sustainable ecommerce solutions
Sustainability is also reflected in the solutions we build for our clients. For example, in the Pure Waste solution, sustainability features such as Carbon and Water Footprint Reports are embedded directly into the ecommerce platform. This enables customers and B2B buyers to better understand the environmental impact of their purchases and make more informed, data-driven decisions.
Avoidance of greenwashing
We focus on practical sustainability efforts and transparent communication, avoiding vague claims or superficial initiatives. We also work to educate our teams and support clients in addressing sustainability credibly within digital commerce.

Respect, diversity, and inclusion
