The Vaimo Connector for Contentful simplifies the content management experience by seamlessly integrating Adobe Commerce with Contentful. Here’s how it works:

  • In the Contentful field, open a modal window to search for products based on SKU or product name.
  • Select one or multiple products and insert them directly into the Contentful field.
  • Only SKUs are stored in Contentful, but the selected products are visually represented, making it clear which products have been chosen.
  • Enjoy the flexibility to remove selected products or change their selection as needed.

This integration allows for easy access to Adobe Commerce product data within the Contentful admin panel, streamlining content management processes and enhancing efficiency.

The Vaimo Contentful Connector FAQs

The Connector allows content managers to search for products from Adobe Commerce based on SKU or product name directly within the Contentful admin panel. They can then select one or multiple products and insert them into the Contentful field, with only SKUs stored in Contentful while the selected products are visually represented.

Our Connector enables you to:

  • Connect ecommerce product data with static content on the same product detail page for enhanced visibility and flexibility.
  • Select products to be shown in product grids/carousels on static pages, unlocking unlimited merchandising potential.
  • Choose multiple products to display the same content on them, facilitating promo-campaign marketing.

To use our Connector, you’ll need:

  • An Adobe Commerce-based website
  • A Contentful account

After downloading the main branch’s code, you need to perform the npm run build command and then install the custom app in the Contentful admin panel.

Further configuration involves setting up a REST API endpoint from your Magento 2 installation and integration API key (Access Token), and selecting the SKUs field in the required content type.
