The Vaimo PIM Connector is the first in a series of MACH (Microservices, API, Cloud-Native, and Headless) Alliance microservices Vaimo is developing. Developed in true MACH spirit, the Vaimo PIM Connector draws from Vaimo’s extensive experience with implementing Product Information Management (PIM) solutions and delivering digital commerce solutions. The Vaimo PIM Connector links Akeneo PIM with the Composable Commerce solution from commercetools to help businesses migrate their product data with the push of a button.

With Vaimo´s new microservice, clients with an existing Akeneo PIM installation can migrate the model structure and content in one go. This allows clients to set up a complete catalog from an empty commercetools instance immediately.

Once the connection is established, the microservice uses Akeneo’s event-based API to ensure that changes in product data immediately get pushed to the commercetools Composable Commerce solution.
